The REMS 176030 ThermoCam 28 C Set is a thermal imaging camera that shows you heat as a live colour picture, so you can spot problems that are otherwise invisible to the eye. In plain terms: you point it at a wall, pipe, or electrical panel and it shows you exactly where heat is escaping, building up, or missing entirely. That makes it ideal for tracing leaks on water and heating installations, finding underfloor heating pipes, checking that heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems are working properly and spotting electrical faults or fire risks before they become a real problem.
Compact and ultra-light at just 660g, it's built for one-handed use with a comfortable pistol grip and a tough, impact-proof housing that can handle daily site use. A built-in laser and LED lamp help you aim accurately even in dim spaces and a regular optical camera works alongside the thermal image, so you get real-world detail to go with the heat picture, making it much easier to explain exactly what you're looking at. The rechargeable battery lasts around 6 hours of continuous use and every photo, video and voice note is saved straight to a MicroSD card, ready to pull off onto a PC for reports or records.
